Rep. Graves Statement on POTUS Approving Louisiana Emergency Declaration Ahead of Hurricane Sally

WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 -- Rep. Garret Graves, R-Louisiana, issued the following news release:
U.S. Congressman Garret Graves (South Louisiana) released the following statement after President Donald Trump approved Louisiana's Emergency Declaration ahead of Hurricane Sally.
"Thank you to POTUS for quickly approving an emergency declaration for Louisiana. This will consolidate disaster relief efforts to maximize federal, state and local government resources and response capabilities.
"Louisiana is still recovering from Hurricane Laura and Tropical Storm Marco, so this is a well-needed action from the President to lessen the impact and will also provide certainty that the federal government stands ready to assist state and local partners at a moments notice," Graves said.
