Rep. Fortenberry Introduces Bill to Limit Price of Insulin Drugs

WASHINGTON, July 31 -- Rep. Jeff Fortenberry, R-Neb., has introduced legislation (H.R. 4813) to "limit the price of insulin drugs accessible for participants, beneficiaries, and enrollees enrolled in group or individual health insurance coverage and group health plans and for uninsured individuals who have diabetes."
The bill was introduced on July 29 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Angie Craig, D-Minn. It was jointly referred to the House Energy and Commerce and Education and Labor committees.
