WASHINGTON, Feb. 10 -- Rep. Bill Flores, R-Texas, issued the following statement regarding the confirmation and swearing in of Rep. Tom Price, R-Ga., as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services:
"Dr. Price has been a strong conservative leader in Congress and has been fighting to relieve hardworking American families from the burdens of Obamacare since its inception.
"I am confident that as Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services he will be successful in working with Congress to repeal Obamacare, and to implement a 21st century health care system.
"It has been fulfilling to work alongside Dr. Price on the Budget Committee. I am also honored to have followed in his footsteps as a Chair of the Republican Study Committee.
"I look forward to working with him in this new capacity as we work to rebuild America's broken health care system with reforms that improve affordability and expand access to high-quality care focused on patients, not Washington."
