Rep. Emmer Introduces Bill on Children’s Health Insurance Program

WASHINGTON, Nov. 17 -- Rep. Tom Emmer, R-Minn., has introduced legislation (H.R. 4404) to amend title XXI of the Social Security Act "to provide for an exception to the reduction to State allotments under the Children's Health Insurance Program for fiscal year 2018."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 15 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Jason Lewis, R-Minn., Collin C. Peterson, D-Minn., and Erik Paulsen, R-Minn. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
