Rep. Doggett Introduces Bill on Medicare Supplemental Health Insurance Policies

WASHINGTON, March 1 -- Rep. Lloyd Doggett, D-Texas, has introduced legislation (H.R. 1394) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act "to provide for certain reforms with respect to medicare supplemental health insurance policies."
The bill was introduced on Feb. 27. It was jointly referred to the House Ways and Means and Energy and Commerce committees.
