Rep. Bass Introduces Bill on Health Insurance Coverage Continuity for Former Foster Youth

WASHINGTON, June 5 -- Rep. Karen Bass, D-Calif., has introduced legislation (H.R. 3059) to amend title XIX of the Social Security Act and the SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act to ensure health insurance coverage continuity for former foster youth.
The bill was introduced on June 3. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
