Rep. Barragan Introduces Bill to Prohibit Annual Limits on Dental Coverage Under Children's Health Insurance Program

WASHINGTON, Feb. 5 -- Rep. Nanette D. Barragan, D-Calif., introduced legislation on Jan. 27, 2023.

H.R. 590. A bill to amend title XXI of the Social Security Act to prohibit lifetime or annual limits on dental coverage under the Children's Health Insurance Program, and to require wraparound coverage of dental services for certain children under such program; to the Committee on Energy and Commerce.

The bill is cosponsored by Reps. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., Tony Cardenas, D-Calif., and Sanford D. Bishop Jr., D-Ga.
