Prospera Funds Inc. Launches Prospera Income ETF (THRV) Listed on Nasdaq

Business Wire

Portfolio management will be headed by industry veteran Peter Montalbano

CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Prospera Funds Inc., a newly formed asset management firm founded by veteran industry executive Michael Pierce, proudly announces the launch of its first ETF, Prospera Income ETF (NASDAQ: THRV).

The Prospera Income ETF aims to deliver attractive, consistent monthly distributions 3-4% above the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield. At its core, the portfolio is anchored in high-quality fixed income ETFs. Around this foundation, the fund tactically allocates to closed-end funds (CEFs), dividend-paying equities, preferred shares, REITs, and commodities each carefully selected to enhance yield, diversify risk, and add resilience against inflationary pressures.

The ETF is actively managed under a flexible “go-anywhere” strategy, allowing the investment team to shift across asset classes and sectors in response to evolving market conditions. The strategy maintains an ‘Always On’ protection layer, with 0.25% of the portfolio in protective puts. In periods of heightened volatility, this hedge can be increased to as much as 10% of the portfolio to help cushion market drawdowns and support capital preservation.

“At Prospera, we understand that income investors need more than just yield, they need consistency, flexibility, and stability,” said Michael Pierce, CEO of Prospera Funds Inc. “The Prospera Income ETF can deliver on that by anchoring in high-quality fixed income ETFs, tactically allocating to income enhancing assets, and integrating built-in risk management. With the ability to scale protective puts up to 10% of the portfolio, investors can gain an added layer of downside defense while continuing to pursue attractive monthly distributions.”

Managed by a seasoned team with over 60+ years of combined experience, the Prospera Income ETF combines disciplined oversight, downside protection, and dynamic income generation to help investors build a more resilient and diversified income stream. The investment team consists of senior portfolio manager, Peter Montalbano, and co-portfolio managers Michael Lowenberg and Kris Wild.

“I look forward to executing the vision laid out for the Prospera Income ETF,” said Montalbano. “The flexibility afforded to me allows for a dynamic approach, selecting the right mix of securities and making timely adjustments as market conditions evolve.”

Montalbano has over 24 years of portfolio management experience. Lowenberg has over 18 years’ experience in portfolio management, tactical allocation, and trade execution.

In addition to his role as co-portfolio manager of THRV, Wild serves as chief investment officer of Prospera Funds Inc.
