Program seeks volunteers to help others navigate Medicare

Feb. 19--The Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program is looking for individuals who have a desire to help people with Medicare navigate the system of healthcare coverage options.
After 24-30 hours of training plus internship, volunteers help clients understand Medicare, including supplemental plans, drug plan insurance, Medicare health plans and long-term care coverage.
Orientation is scheduled for Monday, March 1 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Training will be March 18-21.
