President Donald J. Trump Amends Puerto Rico Disaster Declaration
Today, President Donald J. Trump made additional disaster assistance available to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico by authorizing an extension of increased Federal funding for certain emergency protective measures under the Public Assistance program.
Under the President's order today, the time period for 100 percent Federal funding for emergency power restoration is extended for 90 days and the time period for 100 percent Federal funding for emergency temporary power support and Sheltering and Temporary Essential Power (STEP) is extended for 120 days.
