July 25--On Monday, the Pottawatomie County Board of County Commissioners approved the Prague Fire Department's request to purchase a new 500-gallon skid unit fabrication.
Low bid was from Casco for a total cost of $47,570.
In other commission news
District one received and accepted six bids for a resurfacing project on Moccasin Trail from County Road NS-357 to the Okfuskee county like.
The following bids were accepted:
B&S Construction -- $599,235.56
Haskell Lemon -- $499,876.55
All Roads Paving -- $611,951.54
Glover & Associates -- $486,059.54
A-Tech Paving -- $649,816
Ellsworth Construction -- $500,000
Dale Schools was approved to make a $66,300 annual insurance payment to Oklahoma Schools Risk Management Trust. The payment will be made with funds available to the Dale district from their portion of the county's education sales tax.
Eagle Vision Construction will remove an interior wall at the Pottawatomie County Election Board Office. The wall will be removed to accommodate a rotary filing system that was donated by the Canadian County Election Board.
The commissioners approved a contract between Pottawatomie County and Total Assessment Solutions Corp. for real estate and oil and gas inspections.
