PIA Partners with Progressive to Offer Agents 2,000 Marketing Program Credits

PR Newswire

WASHINGTON, April 30, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Progressive Insurance Company is stepping up to help members of the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) keep their sales pipelines filled during, and after, the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through a substantial donation, Progressive will fund 2,000 credits for two of the PIA's top marketing programs. These funds will be dispersed directly from the PIA and member agents can apply for one of these $250 credits online at https://pianet.com/agentsupport.

"PIA expresses its heartfelt appreciation to Progressive for its support during these trying times," said PIA National President Dennis Kuhnke of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. "This represents a resounding vote of confidence in the independent insurance agents who form the backbone of our industry's sales force."

Providing its members access to a variety of business building programs, PIA chose to assist agents with marketing support, providing tools that agents can use to target audiences based on their specific needs as they focus on growth in this new landscape.

"Helping agents move forward during these uncertain times is a top priority," says Heather Day, General Manager of Agency Distribution at Progressive. "We've been spending the last few weeks working to provide relief, but it's equally important that we help our agents return to growth. We're excited about this partnership with the PIA and our hope is that together we can help agents get back to business."

Members who qualify for the $250 reimbursement can use it to help offset the costs of two of PIA's top marketing programs:

  • Direct Marketing Vault: members can easily launch hybrid print/digital marketing campaigns targeted to households based on USPS postal routes.
  • Design & Print Services: members have access to PIA's creative team to assist with copy and design for print, digital, social and other marketing campaign elements.

"PIA is grateful for the significant donation Progressive has made to help underwrite this program to assist independent agents in their marketing efforts," said PIA National Executive Vice President & CEO Mike Becker.

"Progressive is a longtime member of The PIA Partnership, our national company council, and is a past PIA National Company of Excellence Award winner. Throughout the years, Progressive has always stood by their independent agent partners. Funding this business building program is just the latest example of Progressive taking action to help position independent agents for greater success," Becker said.

PIA members can access full details on how to participate at: https://pianet.com/agentsupport.

Founded in 1931, PIA is a national trade association that represents member insurance agents and their employees who sell and service all kinds of insurance but specialize in coverage of automobiles, homes and businesses. PIA's web address is www.pianet.com.
