Peter Arkley Named President, Alliant Retail Property and Casualty

Experienced leader promoted to oversee ongoing growth and expansion of Retail Property and Casualty

Alliant Insurance Services has announced the promotion of Peter Arkley to President, Alliant Retail Property and Casualty. In his new role, Arkley will lead Alliant’s retail P&C operation to leverage the strength of its Specialty Group and geographic business to drive operational excellence by bringing the best specialists to each client.

As President of Alliant Specialty, Arkley was responsible for developing and implementing the business and financial strategy. He has also expanded the group’s talent base and highly regarded insurance practices to an extensive portfolio of 13 verticals. Under his strategic direction, Alliant Specialty had double-digit growth year over year during the pandemic.

Arkley joined Alliant in 2011 and brought together the premier construction risk management talent in the United States. Before joining Alliant, Arkley served as Chief Executive Officer of the global construction operations for an international insurance brokerage firm.
