Oregon Mutual Insurance Company Appoints June Holmes to Board of Directors

Business Wire

MCMINNVILLE, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Oregon Mutual Insurance Company today announced the appointment of June Holmes to its Board of Directors, effective August 5, 2026. Holmes brings more than 40 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, including executive leadership, senior operating, financial, and governance responsibilities at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA), the insurance industry’s largest trade association.

At APCIA, Holmes held a broad operating mandate spanning finance, human resources, operations, board governance, strategic planning, and oversight of a for-profit subsidiary. As Chief Operating Officer, she played a central role in two organizational mergers, leading due diligence, transition planning, and post-merger integration. Her governance experience includes work with executive, nominating, finance, audit, investment, compensation and benefits, and strategic planning committees.

“June brings the governance depth, financial discipline, and industry perspective our board values,” said Steven Patterson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Oregon Mutual. “She has spent her career close to the issues facing regional mutual insurers and understands how governance, capital, operations, and technology intersect. We are fortunate to welcome her to the board.”

“Oregon Mutual has a 132-year record of standing behind its policyholders and agents, and I have long respected the company and its leadership,” said Holmes. “The company is at an important point in its history, and I look forward to contributing to the board’s work on behalf of its policyholders.”

Holmes was recommended by the board’s nominating committee, chaired by Jim Tate. She joins a board whose members bring experience across underwriting, distribution, finance, and independent agency operations, and she will serve on the Compensation and Risk Management Committees.

Holmes resides in Illinois and is active in church and community advisory boards.
