One80 Intermediaries Acquires VFIS of North Carolina Deepening Emergency Services Capabilities

One80 Intermediaries (One80), a specialty insurance broker headquartered in Boston, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire VFIS of North Carolina, an independent producer and Regional Director for VFIS. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Since 1969, Volunteer Firemen’s Insurance Services, now VFIS has provided highly specialized insurance coverage designed to meet the unique needs of emergency service organizations. This includes fire departments and volunteer fire departments, as well as ambulance and rescue squads. Services include insurance program administration and management, education, training, and consulting services. VFIS is a wholly owned division of Glatfelter Insurance Group, a leading Managing General Agency and Insurance Broker.
