Oil, gas activity declines, Fed says

Uncertainty and pessimism continued to weigh on oil and gas activity in recent months, according to a new survey from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. The quarterly survey– which polled oil and gas executives at 131 companies across Texas, northern Louisiana and southern New Mexico in early December– found the industry is in a period of stagnation.
