Dow Louisiana Federal Credit Union Streamlines Claim Filing Through Integration of IMM’s TotaleAtlas with CUNA Mutual Group

<p class="bwalignc"><i>Credit union eliminating manual task, benefiting from quick access to insurance documents</i></p><p><location value="LU/us.nj.linden" idsrc="xmltag.org">LINDEN, N.J.</location>--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- <a href="http://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.immonline.com%2F&esheet=50008430&lan=en-US&anchor=Integrated+Media+Management&index=1&md5=9746dc6ea0cd3761c5ce901e459564ff">Integrated Media Management</a><span class="bwuline">®</span> (IMM), a document output management and automation technology provider, today announced that <org>Dow Louisiana Federal Credit Union</org> has automated the transport of insurance documents via the integration between IMM’s <a href="http://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.immonline.com%2Fproduct_atlas.html&esheet=50008430&lan=en-US&anchor=TotaleAtlas%E2%84%A2&index=2&md5=8962064284d612afd7009e00689530e7">TotaleAtlas™</a> solution and <org value="ACORN:30213959" idsrc="xmltag.org">CUNA Mutual Group</org>. </p><p> DLFCU previously installed IMM’s TotaleAtlas, a turnkey document preparation engine that merges XML data and PDF documents to deliver a 128-bit encrypted PDF with the digitized signature embedded. The implementation of this secure Web service with <org value="ACORN:30213959" idsrc="xmltag.org">CUNA Mutual</org> has enabled the credit union to remove the physical transport of paper documents when members elect insurance protection. This has allowed DLFCU to have a higher degree of confidence that the proper documentation for debt protection is readily available at <org value="ACORN:30213959" idsrc="xmltag.org">CUNA Mutual</org> if needed. </p><p> “We were previously required to manually fax insurance documents, which involved more time and resources as well as brought greater risk into the process,” said <person>Chad Suggs</person>, chief information officer at DLFCU. “This new approach provides <org value="ACORN:30213959" idsrc="xmltag.org">CUNA Mutual</org> the ability to store the documents at its facility, therefore expediting DLFCU’s claim filing process.” </p><p> Members at DLFCU apply an electronic signature when processing a loan. If the member opts to participate in debt protection, required documents are automatically and securely transferred to <org value="ACORN:30213959" idsrc="xmltag.org">CUNA Mutual</org> from TotaleAtlas and stored at CUNA Mutual’s facility. In the event that a member files a claim, DLFCU provides the member’s information to <org value="ACORN:30213959" idsrc="xmltag.org">CUNA Mutual</org> for the documents to be retrieved from its system. </p><p> “DLFCU has again expanded the scope of its in-house paperless processes, and IMM is pleased to have helped facilitate that transition,” said <person>Chuck Klein</person>, CEO of Integrated Media Management. “CUNA Mutual is a longstanding, valued partner and we anticipate our relationship will continue to positively impact the productivity of an expanding number of credit unions in the future.” </p><p><b>About Integrated Media Management</b></p><p> Based in <location value="LU/us.nj.linden" idsrc="xmltag.org">Linden, N.J.</location>, Integrated Media Management® (IMM) specializes in the paperless technologies that automate the space between a financial institution’s core host system and imaging backend, including digitized signatures in-branch or remotely.
