Dow Louisiana Federal Credit Union Streamlines Claim Filing Through Integration of IMM’s TotaleAtlas with CUNA Mutual Group

The implementation of this secure Web service with <org value="ACORN:30213959" idsrc="xmltag.org">CUNA Mutual</org> has enabled the credit union to remove the physical transport of paper documents when members elect insurance protection. This has allowed DLFCU to have a higher degree of confidence that the proper documentation for debt protection is readily available at <org value="ACORN:30213959" idsrc="xmltag.org">CUNA Mutual</org> if needed. </p><p> “We were previously required to manually fax insurance documents, which involved more time and resources as well as brought greater risk into the process,” said <person>Chad Suggs</person>, chief information officer at DLFCU. “This new approach provides <org value="ACORN:30213959" idsrc="xmltag.org">CUNA Mutual</org> the ability to store the documents at its facility, therefore expediting DLFCU’s claim filing process.” </p><p> Members at DLFCU apply an electronic signature when processing a loan. If the member opts to participate in debt protection, required documents are automatically and securely transferred to <org value="ACORN:30213959" idsrc="xmltag.org">CUNA Mutual</org> from TotaleAtlas and stored at CUNA Mutual’s facility.
