SCAN Health Plan Appoints David Milligan as Vice President of Sales
<p><location value="LU/us.ca.lngbea" idsrc="xmltag.org">LONG BEACH, Calif.</location>--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- <org value="ACORN:879003607" idsrc="xmltag.org">SCAN Health Plan</org> has appointed healthcare executive <person>David Milligan</person> as vice president of sales, effective immediately. </p><p> “We are pleased to have someone with David’s sales integrity join our leadership team,” said <person>Chris Wing</person>, president and chief executive officer of <org value="ACORN:879003607" idsrc="xmltag.org">SCAN Health Plan</org>. “He brings a solid understanding of our industry, the complex regulations, and a commitment to member satisfaction and retention. We will be looking to David to support SCAN’s ongoing growth strategy as well as our mission of putting members first.” </p><p> Milligan brings to SCAN more than 20 years of professional experience in sales and marketing. Prior to joining SCAN he served as vice president of sales compliance for <org>HealthSpring/Bravo Health</org>, a <location value="LU/us.md.bltmre" idsrc="xmltag.org">Baltimore</location>-based operator of <org>Medicare Advantage</org> health plans. Milligan has also served as a senior sales director at CareMore Health Plan, vice president of customer retention at <org value="ACORN:1435786410" idsrc="xmltag.org">United Health Group</org>, and director of sales at <org value="ACORN:3527510732" idsrc="xmltag.org">PacifiCare Health Systems</org>. </p><p> He earned a Master of Business Administration at <org>Loyola Marymount University</org> in <location value="LU/us.ca.losang" idsrc="xmltag.org">Los Angeles</location>, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at <org>California State University, Long Beach</org>.
