NYC Health+Hospitals Seeks Additional $28.6M From UnitedHealthcare Over Wrongful Denials
After a review of nearly 4,000 claims over a three-and-a-half-year period, the largest public hospital in the country said it’s owed $40.1 million from UnitedHealthcare. NYC Health + Hospitals CEO Mitchell Katz blasted the insurer for “skewed” priorities.
