NYC firm affiliated with global titan Aon acquires local company

Brentwood-based financial services firm Levine Group has been sold to a New York insurance broker, wealth manager and retirement plan advisor affiliated with global giant Aon.
Financial terms of the transaction with NFP (National Financial Partners Corp.) were not disclosed in a release.
Founded in 1963 by Robert Levine, according to its website, Levine Group employs 11 individuals.
Specifically, Levine Group Managing Partner Michael Levine will work alongside Mike Schneider, president of NFP's Central and West regions. In addition, Levine Group'sTrevor Coe (a partner and financial advisor) and Zach Levine (a financial advisor) will join NFP in leadership roles.
The release does not disclose any new positions for other Levine Group employees and if Levine Group will do business with the NFP moniker.
Establish in 1999, NFP is affiliated with London-based Aon, a professional services firm providing risk, retirement and health financial solutions. Aon recorded revenue of about $15.7 billion in 2024, according to the company website. The company employs 66,000 people working in 120 countries.
