NFIB Issues Statement on Senate’s Failure to Repeal Obamacare

WASHINGTON, July 28 -- The National Federation of Independent Business issued the following statement by President and CEO Juanita Duggan on Senate gridlock leaves in place the crushing Obamacare taxes and mandates:
"We are very disappointed by the Senate's inability to repeal Obamacare. The skyrocketing cost of healthcare was made worse by Obamacare and now, after seven years of promises to repeal it, small businesses will continue to endure Obamacare's crushing taxes and mandates.
"Small business owners voted for candidates who promised to repeal Obamacare.
"As Washington shifts its attention to tax reform, small business will be watching. Congress cannot fail again on this key small business priority aEurosdz½ they must ensure small businesses are the central focus of tax reform."
