NEW YORK FED PRESIDENT/CEO TO TALK ECONOMIC POLICY AT GAC 2026

The following information was released by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA):
Federal Reserve Bank of New York President/CEO John C. Williams will address key economic and policy developments as part of the 2026 Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC). On Tuesday of GAC Williams will give remarks and participate in a question-and-answer session moderated by America's Credit Unions Head of Regulatory Advocacy James Akin.
In his capacity leading the New York Fed, Williams serves as the vice chair and a permanent voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee. He has also served as president/CEO of the San Francisco Fed, and served in roles at the White House Council of Economic Advisers, Stanford University'sGraduate School of Business, and Fed Board of Governors.
The largest, most influential credit union advocacy event, GAC 2026 is scheduled for March 1 to 5 in Washington, D.C., and will bring thousands of credit union advocates to directly engage with policymakers.
