NEW YORK (AP) _ National General Holdings Corp. (NGHC) on Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $54 million.
The New York-based company said it had profit of 43 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 24 cents per share.
The insurance holding company posted revenue of $1.11 billion in the period.
National General shares have declined 18 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $20.60, climbing slightly in the last 12 months.
