MV Integrates Truven Health Analytics’ Micromedex® Solutions into its Electronic Health Record EHR SOUL MV

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Health & Medicine Week -- MV, a market leader in health management systems in Brazil, has announced a partnership to integrate its EHR solution SOUL MV® with Truven Health Analytics Micromedex® Solutions (see also Truven Health Analytics).

According to the North American organization KLAS, MV owns the largest market share in EHR solutions in Latin America. SOUL MV, MV's platform for healthcare management solutions, provides comprehensive clinical and administrative functionality to networked and stand-alone health facilities, including state health departments, public and private hospitals, emergency units, family care centers and health insurance carriers.

By integrating Micromedex Solutions, clinicians that use the EHR SOUL MV will be able to access the world's leading source of evidence-based medication and condition management information, as well as patient education in 15 languages, including Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish.

The integration of Micromedex will include Truven Health's InfoButton®, Integrated CareNotes® and Ultimedex® Medication Advisory Screening (MAS) solutions. With these capabilities, clinicians can get faster access to the information they need to confirm diagnosis and treatment, including efficiency in assessing drug interactions, all while supporting better patient education to increase adherence and engage patients.
