OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Medicare Part D prescription drug plans from Mutual of Omaha are now open for enrollment by Medicare beneficiaries across the country.

Mutual of Omaha’s Medicare Part D plans for the 2019 plan year are available in 49 states and the District of Columbia, said Brad Buechler, Executive Vice President, Senior Health Solutions.

Two Part D plans – the Mutual of Omaha Rx Value enhanced plan and the Mutual of Omaha Rx Plus basic plan – are now available.

Approximately 85 percent of Medicare Supplement customers also purchase a Part D prescription drug plan. Medicare Part D works in conjunction with Medicare Part A (hospital) and Part B (doctors and outpatient care) to help Medicare beneficiaries meet their prescription drug needs.
