Monetta Community Volunteer Fire Department holds ribbon-cutting to open new fire station

Following the ribbon cutting, attendees could enjoy free food and kids were able to play on a bounce house.
Taylor also presented the department with a
"I have a very special dictionary and when looked up the definition of public servant, it said volunteer firefighters," Taylor said. "Volunteer firefighters give up their time and risk their lives doing this job they do, and they don't get paid. So, I agree with that definition -- volunteer firefighters are the epitome of what it means to be a public servant."
