Missouri man faces DUI after Worden incident [The Telegraph, Alton, Ill.]

Jan. 28—EDWARDSVILLE — A Missouri man was charged Wednesday with felony DUI relating to a December incident near Worden.

Ryan James Grimaud, 30, of St. Ann, Missouri, was charged Jan. 24 with aggravated driving while under the influence of alcohol, a Class 4 felony.

The case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff's Department.

According to court documents, on Dec. 17 Grimaud was found to be driving a 2011 Nissan Sentra on Su Twan Drive in Worden while under the influence of alcohol and without liability insurance.

He was ordered released from custody.

In an unrelated case, Johnathan I. Espinoza, 32, of the 2100 block of Bern Avenue, Granite City, was charged with aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, a Class 4 felony.

The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department.

According to court documents, on Dec. 31 Espinoza attempted to flee from a Granite City police officer, disobeying two or more traffic control devices.

He was ordered released from custody.

Separately, Micah J. Clevenger Jr., 33, of the 2200 block of E. 23rd Street, Granite City, was charged with aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer, a Class 4 felony.

The case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff's Department.

According to court documents, on Nov. 6 Clevenger attempted to flee from a police officer, reaching speeds in excess of 21 miles above the posted speed limit.

He was ordered released from custody.

These individuals have only been charged and remain innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. All charges may not be reported.
