MINNEAPOLIS FED NAMES LYNCH AVP IN SUPERVISION, REGULATION, AND CREDIT

The following information was released by the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis:
Anne Lynch has been named assistant vice president for large firm supervision in the Supervision, Regulation, and Credit (SRC) Division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
In this role, Lynch leads teams responsible for supervising the Ninth Federal Reserve Districts largest holding companies to ensure their safety and soundness. She is also responsible for representing the Bank in System-wide discussions of large bank supervision.
Lynch joined the Bank in 2010 as an assistant examiner in consumer affairs, and held several positions in SRC, rising to manage all aspects of the supervisory team for a large firm in the Banks portfolio. She has also developed a strong track record of achievement leading System-wide projects.
Lynch holds a B.A. from the University of Minnesota in communication studies, and a law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks that, with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the Federal Reserve System, the nations central bank. The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is responsible for the Ninth Federal Reserve District, which includes Montana, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, northwestern Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis participates in setting national monetary policy, supervises numerous banking organizations, and provides a variety of payments services to financial institutions and the U.S. government.
