Michael S. Nannizzi Joins W. R. Berkley Corporation

GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- W. R. Berkley Corporation (NYSE:WRB) today announced that Michael S. Nannizzi has joined its corporate investment team. In this newly created role, Mr. Nannizzi will be responsible for evaluating investments in emerging insurance technology companies. The appointment is effective immediately.

Mr. Nannizzi most recently served as the lead equity analyst covering insurance at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and has nearly 15 years of experience as an equity analyst focused on the financial and insurance sectors. He earned a B.S. from Marquette University, where he studied accounting, international business and Spanish literature, and an M.B.A. from NYU Stern School of Business.
