Faegre Baker Daniels Consulting has announced the promotion of three Washington, D.C. professionals - Michael Adelberg to principal and Lauren Bloch and Beena Patel to director.

Adelberg was promoted to principal from senior director on the firm's health and biosciences consulting team. Adelberg has 20 years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid and the Health Insurance Exchanges and has held several senior positions within the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). He brings unique insights into the processes, policies and people behind the public programs that finance or subsidize health care coverage.

Bloch was promoted to director from advisor on the firm's health and biosciences consulting team. She provides strategy and management consulting for clients across the health care and biosciences fields, covering topics from research and clinical trials to health care delivery models. Bloch has experience working on high-profile programs and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups to solve complex challenges.

Patel was promoted to director from managing advisor on the firm's public sector consulting team. She delivers innovative strategic advocacy plans and big picture insights, representing clients' interests at the federal level, bringing national attention and resources to local governments, economic development organizations, transportation coalitions, healthcare associations, nonprofit organizations, and colleges and universities. Patel assists her clients' efforts before the U.S. Congress, the Administration and federal agencies by developing and supporting their legislative, regulatory and funding strategies. She is adept at synthesizing policy implications, identifying best practices, and managing tight deadlines with a strong bipartisan ability to work across the aisle to develop broad coalitions of support around specific issue areas.
