MGIC hires Sean Valcamp, Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer

MILWAUKEE, March 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corporation (MGIC), the principal subsidiary of MGIC Investment Corporation (NYSE: MTG), announced today that the company has hired Sean Valcamp as Vice President – Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Mr. Valcamp comes to MGIC from Avnet, Inc. of Phoenix, Ariz., where he held successive positions of increasing responsibility in the IT department. Mr. Valcamp served for more than 11 years as Avnet's Global Security Leader and was named the company's first Chief Information Security Officer in 2015.

He has a combined 28 years of experience in the technology industry and holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.
