MetLife Joins Choice Builder Ancillary Benefits Exchange

Business Wire

ORANGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CHOICE Administrators announced today the expansion of its Choice Builder® ancillary benefits exchange to include four new MetLife Dental PPO plans. The new options are available to employers with two to 199 employees for coverage effective April 1, 2017, or later. They include three employer-sponsored Dental PPO choices and one voluntary Dental PPO plan.

“We are very excited to welcome MetLife to the Choice Builder ancillary exchange,” said Ron Goldstein, president and CEO of CHOICE Administrators. “The new MetLife Dental PPO plans broaden our portfolio, so employers can now choose from three of the nation’s premier dental insurers in one program. Choice Builder gives employers more options than ever before when it comes to the dental health of their employees and participating dependents.”

Some of the added benefits of the MetLife Dental PPO program include an extensive network of participating dentists, added cost savings* from in network utilization, the freedom to visit any dentist in or out of network and no paperwork for patients (if the dentist files claims on their behalf). The new MetLife Dental PPO plans include in-network benefits of up to $2,500 annually and out-of-network benefits of up to $2,000 per year. For all four new plans, the deductible is waived for in-network diagnostic or preventive care. Orthodontic care is available.

For employers, the added benefits of choosing the Choice Builder ancillary benefits exchange for their employees’ dental health include greater budget control (with a choice of voluntary or employer-sponsored coverage), increased employee choice (with multiple dental plans plus available coverage for vision, chiropractic and acupuncture, and life insurance), streamlined processing, and unparalleled customer service. For more information, visit www.choicebuilder.com.

*Savings from enrolling in the MetLife Preferred Dentist Program will depend on various factors, including how often participants visit the dentist and the costs for services rendered.
