Jul. 28--Mercy Fort Smith is offering help to navigate the Medicare process.
Medicare -- Getting Started is a free educational seminar from 10 a.m. to noon the first Thursday each month at the Fort Smith Public Library branch at 8100 Dallas St.
The seminars are for those soon to become eligible for Medicare. Sessions will include information on parts A, B and D (prescription coverage) and differences between Part C (Medicare Advantage) and Medicare supplement insurance plans.
