Luigi Mangione's trial for the murder of an executive begins in September
The trial of Luigi Mangione, accused of murdering the CEO of one of the largest health insurance companies in the United States, will begin with jury selection on September 8, according to local media. The victim, Brian Thompson, executive director of UnitedHealthcare, was shot dead on a street in Manhattan, New York, on December 4, 2024, as he left his hotel.
