Thomas Groves

Thomas Groves was recently appointed to the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation’s board of governors.

Groves, founder, president and partner of Equinox Benefits Consulting, has more than 20 years of insurance industry experience, including working for Highmark Blue Shield. He started the company in 2004.

Groves has a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from St. Joseph’s University. He is licensed in accident and health, life and fixed annuities, casualty and allied lines, personal lines, property and allied lines as a resident producer for Pennsylvania, and 10 other states.

The board of governors at Lehigh Valley Community Foundation provide administrative, programming and fiscal oversight in support of the organization’s mission. Members of the board serve as ambassadors, promoting the foundation as a vehicle for philanthropy and a leader of community improvement.

Joshua Kovitch

Joshua Kovitch was appointed interim program manager for the Southeast Pennsylvania Procurement Technical Assistance Center.

Kovitch will lead a team of government contracting consultants who provide assistance to small businesses for preparation, interpretation and submission of bids and proposals of government contracts.

In addition, Kovitch will offer clients guidance to understand if they have the staffing, experience and financing necessary to compete for a government contract.

Dr. Cynthia Martin

Lehigh Valley area primary care physician Dr. Cynthia Martin has joined St. Luke’s Easton Area Family Medicine.

Martin provides preventive care, teaches healthy lifestyle choices, identifies and treats common medical conditions, helps manage chronic conditions and makes referrals to medical specialists when needed.

A board-certified family physician, Martin approaches each patient as an individual with unique life circumstances and unique health issues or concerns.

Martin graduated from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her internship and family medicine residencies at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
