LIMRA & LOMA Announce New Members to Its Life Insurance and Annuity Advisory Boards

WINDSOR, Connecticut, Nov. 21 -- LIMRA issued the following news release on Nov. 20, 2023:

LIMRA and LOMA today announced the new members of its Life Insurance Advisory Board and Annuity Advisory Board. These advisory boards offer insight on the business challenges facing companies to help the association better understand and adapt its member benefits program to serve the evolving needs of its members.

Life Insurance Advisory Board

Dennis Martin, president, Individual Life and Financial Services, OneAmerica, will continue as chair of the Life Insurance Advisory Board. Dawn Behnke, executive vice president, Consumer Markets, Pacific Life, will remain vice chair.

Nine new industry leaders joined the Life Insurance Advisory Board:

* John Bultema, president and chief executive officer, Columbus Life Insurance Company and The Lafayette Life Insurance Company, part of Western & Southern Financial Group

* Neil Drzewiecki, head of Life Products, MassMutual

* Kristin Ferguson, senior vice president, Individual Solutions, Securian Financial Group

* Bob Gregg, vice president and actuary, Mutual of Omaha

* Jason Handal, vice president, Risk Products, Northwestern Mutual

* Tom Harris, president, Life Insurance and Annuities, Penn Mutual

* Steve Sanders, senior vice president and head of Protection Segment, F&G Annuities & Life

* Steve Sperka, vice president, Solutions Design Implementation and Support, Thrivent

* Mindi Work, executive vice president, Life Division and Emerging Solutions, Symetra Financial Corporation

Annuity Advisory Board

Aaron Seurkamp (chair), senior vice president and president of the Retirement Division, Protective Life Corporation, and Todd Taylor (vice chair), senior vice president, head of Retail Annuities, New York Life Insurance Company, will lead the Annuity Advisory Board.

Four executives joined the Annuity Advisory Board:

* Matt DiGangi, head of Annuity Distribution, MassMutual

* Jason Handal, vice president, Risk Products, Northwestern Mutual

* Wendy McCullough, vice president, Solutions Pricing and Development, Thrivent
