LHDC receives grant from Community Foundation of Crawford County

Community Foundation of Crawford County recently granted the Covering Kids and Families program of Lincoln Hills Development Corporation$4,826.61 to provide health insurance outreach services in Crawford County.
The grant will help CKF of LHDC increase awareness of free virtual and in person services available to Crawford County residents, thereby increasing access to affordable healthcare in the county.
Through its partnership with Covering Kids and Families of Indiana, LHDC employs state licensed health insurance Navigators who are certified to help individuals and families enroll in and maintain affordable health insurance coverage. CKF of LHDC Navigators can assist with programs such as Medicaid, Healthy Indiana Plan, Hoosier Healthwise, Hoosier Care Connect, and the Marketplace. CKF of LHDC Navigators provide free, local health insurance navigation services in a seven-county region, including Crawford County, in southern Indiana.
