Letters: LUH pool; impeachment

Daily Times-Call (Longmont, CO)

Dec. 5--LUH/Centura deserve that label

Mr. Kris Harris' editorial on Monday, Dec. 2, was spot on. After defining the word "hypocrite," Mr. Harris goes on to demonstrate how the leadership of Longmont United Hospital, and their partners, Centura Health, rightfully deserve such a shameful labeling.

Fundamentally, it is because they have made a disgraceful business decision. The hundreds of affected community members would be disappointed by such a position but probably not feel so "betrayed" if it was not for LUH/Centura Health mission statements, ethical promises, and statements of objectives, all of which promise a "healing ministry" and "nurturing the health and well-being of the community." It is not the "end-of-life" of a swimming pool that they should be considering, but the reduced health, and possible shorting of life, of their physically impaired gym and pool membership. Shameful.

Democrats have nothing on Trump

Holy cow, Batman. The rowdy House Dems are on the warpath again. Chief Nancy Pelosi and her merry band of clueless followers are trying to raid the White House, sabotage the Constitution of the land of the free and the home of the brave, hold a kangaroo court with a bunch of so-called witnesses to attest to second-, third- and fourth-hand "hearsay" information all based on a so-called "whistleblower." Wow!

So far they haven't found anything to hang their hat on, not even the lies and made-up stuff to charge the White House Chief with all in the name of "no one is above the law." Yet they are still in the dark as to what he has done. They started with Jerry Nadler, and he tried his best and failed, so then Nancy Pelosi turned to her favorite "pet rock," Adam Schiff, and all he knows is how to lie and make up stuff, and he doesn't do a very good job of that. If they want to charge someone with a crime of lies and coverup, start with their own party, like Hillary Clinton, the queen of crime.

They still can't get over loosing the 2016 election to an outsider. So they started working on how to impeach and remove Trump the day after he won, and if that doesn't work they'll work on dividing the country. There are people out there who say impeach him, but yet they don't know anything about what is going on, they just base it on hearsay. The liberal left is crooked and destructive. Most people live in a fantasy world of hearsay. What a shame, they belong to a group of "I see nothing, I hear nothing, I know nothing."
