The following arrests, citation, and accident were reported Monday by the Lee County Sheriff's office.
Robert Daniel Brackelsberg, 31, Keokuk, was arrested at 6:21 a.m. Monday on a mittimus judgment warrant. He was taken to the Lee County Jail.
Kaleb Robert Meierotto, 23, Keokuk, was arrested at North 13th Street and Morgan Street in Keokuk at 2:06 a.m. Monday and charged with being a fugitive from justice, failing to provide proof of liability insurance, fraudulent use of registration, and possessing drug paraphernalia. He was jailed.
Heather Michelle Hayes, 29, Fort Madison, was arrested at 8:24 p.m. Sunday on a mittimus judgment warrant. She was jailed.
Justin Michael Barnes, 35, Fort Madison, was arrested a 5:05 p.m. Sunday on a mittimus judgment warrant. He was jailed.
Nathan Patrick Boone, 31, Keokuk, was arrested at 8:45 a.m. Sunday on a mittimus judgment warrant. He was jailed.
James Alvie Wilsey Jr., 54, Keokuk, was arrested at South Seventh Street and Des Moines Street in Keokuk at 1:46 a.m. Saturday and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was jailed, but released on his own recognizance at 10:09 a.m. that day.
Latasha Mae Pearsall, 29, Keokuk, was cited and released for driving while barred in the 1900 block of Highway 27 at 12:50 a.m. Saturday.
Marrissa Fawn Ash, 39, of Kahoka, Mo., was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Friday on two warrants, each charging her with contempt of court for failing to appear at proceedings. She was jailed, but released at 2:42 p.m. Saturday after posting bond.
Troy William James, 52, Fort Madison, was arrested at 3116 Ave. K at 10:18 p.m. Friday and charged with third degree harassment. He was jailed, but released on his own recognizance at 10:14 a.m. Saturday.
Accident
Deputies were dispatched to the 1800 block of Highway 2 at 6:17 a.m. Sunday in reference to a two-vehicle accident involving a SUV, driven by Paula Marie Burk, 57, of Kahoka Mo., and pickup truck, driven by Todd Richard Pardell, 58, of West Point. According to the accident report, Burk said she was eastbound on Highway 2 behind Pardell's vehicle. She said she saw him start to slow down, but did not see a turn signal. Burk said she went to pass Pardell when he turned into her vehicle while trying to turn into a driveway on the north side of the road. Burk's vehicle was struck on the passenger's side and sustained about $1,500 in damage, but was driven from the scene. Pardell said he was eastbound on Highway 2 and went to turn into the driveway on the north side of the road and did not see Burk attempting to pass him. Pardell's vehicle was struck on the front left headlight and sustained about $1,500 in damage, but was driven from the scene.
