Lawmakers introduce bill that would allow state to invest in Bitcoin
Two Florida lawmakers have filed legislation to allow the state to invest its funds in Bitcoin and other digital assets. Joe Gruters, R- Sarasota, and Rep. Webster Barnaby, R- Deltona, cited the state's responsibility to protect its resources against inflation as a reason to grant the chief financial officer that authority.
