Kin Insurance to Present at the 2019 Montgomery Summit

PR Web

CHICAGO (PRWEB) March 05, 2019

Kin Insurance, an insurtech startup that uses big data and intuitive tech to provide affordable homeowners insurance, announced today that CEO Sean Harper will speak at the 2019 Montgomery Summit on Wednesday, March 6.

Founded by Jamie Montgomery in 2004, the Montgomery Summit is a conference with a decade-long reputation for bringing the brightest innovators under one roof. It is an invitation-only event for entrepreneurs, senior-level investors, and top executives from private tech and venture capital firms. The 140 presentations are hand-picked to drive important discussions about what the future holds for entrepreneurship.

Sean Harper is among the chosen presenters and will offer insight into how to build and grow an insurtech startup in a competitive, highly regulated industry. He'll draw on Kin's track record of growth and innovation to offer attendees rare perspective into what it takes to push the industry forward.

"It's an honor to spotlight what we've learned as a young startup," said Kin CEO Sean Harper. "I look forward to learning from the other presenters. It's what entrepreneurship should be about – sharing ideas and making each other sharper."

Other notable speakers include Dan Schulman, president and CEO of PayPal, Adena Friedman, president and CEO of Nasdaq, Carmine Di Sibio, CEO-elect and global managing partner of EY, and more.

In keeping with the Summit's roots as a technology conference, companies from all tech sectors will be represented, from fintech and blockchain to healthcare, gaming, and social media.

The Summit will take place at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows in Santa Monica, California, on March 6–7, 2019.

About Kin

Kin Insurance is an insurtech startup that uses data and technology to simplify homeowners insurance. Kin's proprietary technology allows most customers to go online, get a quote, adjust their coverage, and bind their policy in minutes. Kin leverages public data and machine learning to simplify the application process. This means homeowners don't have to answer complicated questions to get accurate, affordable coverage. The company is based in Chicago and currently serves Florida, Texas, and Georgia, with plans to expand across the US.
