KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Kansas City Life Insurance Co. (KCLI) on Monday reported earnings of $34.1 million in its fourth quarter.
The Kansas City, Missouri-based company said it had net income of $3.52 per share. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, came to 37 cents per share.
The insurance company posted revenue of $112.2 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $51.5 million, or $5.32 per share. Revenue was reported as $450.7 million.
Kansas City Life shares have fallen nearly 2 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has dropped slightly more than 4 percent in the last 12 months.
