To create its 2021 list of best insurance companies for Medicare Advantage, U.S. News analyzed Medicare Advantage offerings in each state based on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Star Ratings.

In the CMS 2021 ratings, we received 5 out of 5 stars for providing the highest quality care and service to Medicare members in California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, the Mid-Atlantic states (Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.), and the Northwest. Our Medicare plan in Washington state earned 4.5 out of 5 stars, CMS' second-highest rating.
