Josh Duhamel Becomes First Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot Ambassador

PR Newswire

SAN FRANCISCO, May 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Esurance is introducing actor Josh Duhamel as the first-ever Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot Ambassador.

Esurance and Major League Baseball Partnership

Duhamel, who is starring in the upcoming movie Transformers: The Last Knight, will rally fans for the 88th Midsummer Classic throughout the ballot voting period: he will submit his votes, share posts on social media, and help fans everywhere get an inside look at MLB All-Star Week while on the ground at MLB All-Star FanFest in Miami, Florida.

"I've made my ballot picks and am excited to be partnering with Esurance as the first ballot ambassador," said Duhamel. "I'm a huge sports fan and grew up playing baseball and collecting trading cards. I've always loved the game!"

Duhamel will unveil his votes for the All-Star Game Ballot and talk about the baseball season with reporter Ted Berg and MLB.com host Jeremy Brisiel (JB) on Facebook Live TODAY at 2:35 p.m. ET. Tune in to hear who Duhamel is voting for this All-Star Game!

"Josh is no stranger to the game – he's a passionate baseball fan who can relate with other fans throughout the country and rally them around the All-Star Game Ballot," said Nancy Abraham, vice president of integrated marketing communications at Esurance. "We love to surprise fans with special access, engaging content, and unique experiences that celebrate their passion for baseball."

Fans can cast their votes for starters at MLB.com and all 30 club sites -- on their computers, tablets and smartphones -- exclusively online using the 2017 Esurance MLB All-Star Game Ballot until Thursday, June 29, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Vote up to five times in any 24-hour period for a maximum of 35 times total throughout the voting period. • Airfare and lodging for the winner and three guests
  • Tickets for more MLB All-Star Week events

Duhamel will also make an in-person appearance at MLB All-Star FanFest on Sunday, July 9 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. He'll be engaging with fans and giving away fun prizes. Follow Esurance on Facebook to see video and photos of the day's event.
