WASHINGTON, Oct. 29 -- Job Creators Network issued the following statement by President and CEO Alfredo Ortiz:
The Republican Study Committee (RSC), the conservative caucus which about three-quarters of House Republicans belong to, recently released their healthcare reform plan, A Framework for Personalized, Affordable Care.
"The RSC deserves tremendous credit for creating a personalized healthcare plan that will make health insurance more affordable for the small business community, while protecting those with pre-existing conditions.
"With Obamacare forcing one out of three small businesses to drop health coverage for their employees, a personalized healthcare plan is urgently needed, and we look forward to working with the RSC to build support for such a plan.
"The principles and ideas behind our "Healthcare for You" framework overlap with many elements of RSC's plan, and our research shows they have the support of the American people.
"Together, we can advance a reform agenda that restores the patient-doctor relationship, gets DC bureaucrats and politicians out of healthcare decisions and increases choice."
