The Jalisco Health Insurance Program has been announced to offer medical services to people who are not entitled to the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) or the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE).
Governor Enrique Alfaro announced that Seguro Salud Jalisco, which seeks to offer medical attention to more than 2,362,000 people, will be launched in 15 days.
The service will be organized by means of credentialing and medical records, added Alfaro Ramírez.
"Today we are formally kicking off the credentialing process, which will be of great importance because people will know that they have insurance," said Alfaro.
This program seeks to cover the population without social security left by the now defunct Seguro Popular.
It should be noted that the sons and daughters of the more than 2 million people who will be credentialed will also be enrolled in Seguro Salud Jalisco.
