ISG to Examine the Changing Insurance Outsourcing Market

The study results will be published in a comprehensive ISG Provider Lens™ report, "Insurance BPO Digital Services 2019 — Life, Property & Casualty," set to be released in August. The report will take a holistic approach to examining the insurance BPO market, including a detailed review of strategy and management services, front- and middle-office services, back office/transaction processing and support services.

ISG has distributed surveys to 19 insurance outsourcing providers. Working in collaboration with ISG advisors, the research team will examine two quadrants representing the services in greatest demand, based on ISG's experience working with insurance industry clients. The two quadrants that will be covered are:
- Life insurance, including outsourcing services such as consulting, technology enablement and managed services for types of insurance including life, annuity, healthcare and term;
- Property and casualty insurance, including outsourcing services offering similar products and services for insurance including auto, theft, property and natural disasters.
