Irony in Washington

To the Editor:

How ironic, or at least characterized by irony, the fact that the president is forcing some workers in this country, such as air traffic controllers and others, to go to work and not get paid, and at the same time, allowing Mike Johnson and the house of representatives to stay home, and still get paid!

Also, by allowing the subsidies for the affordable care act to expire, he is effectively, forcing millions to go without health insurance, and at the same time, those same people through their taxes are paying the health care premiums for Congress!
