IRMI Announces Newly Updated MLIS Certification Program
The Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS(R)) program is composed of a specialized curriculum focused specifically on directors and officers (D&O) liability, employment practices liability (EPL), fiduciary liability, and cyber insurance. Completing all five courses entitles management liability insurance professionals to display and use the MLIS certification.
The MLIS courses are completely updated with the latest laws, ruling changes, coverages, exposures, and a new Cyber and Privacy Liability Exposures and How to Insure Them course has been added to the curriculum.
"Businesses face increased regulatory scrutiny and emerging exposures in the management liability environment," said
Because of the complexities of management liability exposures and coverages insurance generalists can make errors in designing programs for their clients. Completing the MLIS curriculum will ensure that the agent, broker, consultant, or in-house risk manager or insurance buyer understands the most important aspects of professional and management liability
