Introducing Allwell From Home State Health

CHESTERFIELD, Mo., Oct. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Medicare open enrollment is underway and this year consumers may select Home State Health's Medicare Advantage products, branded as Allwell from Home State Health. The new national Allwell brand unites our family of local and regional Medicare plans under one umbrella and will allow our network of experts and valued providers to deliver outstanding benefits and superior services to members, delivered locally through their health plan, Home State Health.

Allwell from Home State Health will be available to residents in the following counties: Barry, Christian, Greene, Jasper, Lawrence, Newton, Cass, Clay, Jackson, and Platte. The new plan will be effective Jan. 1, 2018.

Medicare is a government health insurance program for people age 65 or older. It may also cover certain younger people with disabilities, as well as those suffering from End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD). Medicare beneficiaries can start shopping for an Allwell product that will meet their healthcare needs and budget during the Open Enrollment period Oct. 15, 2017 through Dec. 7, 2017. Consumers and their family members can compare and purchase products on the Allwell from Home State Health website.

Allwell has a contract with Medicare offer HMO plans. Enrollment in an Allwell Medicare Advantage plan depends on the renewal of these contracts.
